ACG’s IBD School & Southern Regional Postgraduate Course

Mark your calendar for ACG’s IBD School and Southern Regional Postgraduate Course! The seminar will take place from December 1st-December 3rd at the Omni Nashville Hotel in bustling downtown Nashville, Tennessee.

December 1st will feature ACG’s IBD School, where interactive educational programs will combine an immersion in IBD management with a clinical update on new therapeutic and monitoring approaches. The goals of this course are to improve clinical judgment and to address the art and science of IBD management.

The Southern Regional Postgraduate Course offered Saturday and Sunday, December 2nd and 3rd will feature a range of topics, as well as hands-on sessions Saturday afternoon. Topics include upper and lower GI, pancreas, endoscopy, FMT, small bowel bleeding, liver, and payment models. Both courses promise to be extremely informative and engaging.

New York Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (NYSGE), New York, NY

The 41st Annual New York Course is a premier GI meeting held at the New York Marriot Marquis Hotel, located in Time Square amid the excitement of the Winter holiday season! With an expected attendance of about 700 medical professionals from the GI field, NYSGE promises to be one of the largest endoscopy conferences in the United States. Product, service, and educational exhibits are an integral component of the program at NYSGE. The event will take place from December 14th to December 15th in New York, NY.

 

 

The 41st Annual New York Course has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of Albert Einstein College of Medicine and the New York Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. With a fascinating list of dozens of topics to learn about, the event is sure to be educational and interesting for all attendees.

Mid-Bronx Endoscopy Center Commencement of Operations

Bronx, NYPhysicians Endoscopy (PE) along with the owners of Mid-Bronx Endoscopy Center, LLC (MBEC) are excited to announce the beginning of operations of their newly constructed endoscopy center located at 51 West Burnside Avenue, Bronx, NY. As of August 2017, MBEC started seeing patients in this state-of-the-art four-room ambulatory surgery center, expecting to serve over 7,000 patients annually.

MBEC is a licensed Article 28 Freestanding Ambulatory Surgical Center dedicated to providing endoscopic procedures. This single-specialty center is a joint venture between Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center, Morris Heights Health Center, four hospital-employed GI physicians, and four independent gastroenterologists. Physicians Endoscopy is the management company providing administrative services and working exclusively on the business and operational components of the Center.

Physicians Endoscopy efficiently navigated the project through the rigorous certificate of need program within New York State’s Department of Health. Upon approval in 2016, PE managed the entire construction process including licensing and accreditation, and together with all owners ensured a successful opening.

4th Annual NY Metro ASC Symposium, New York, NY

This one-day seminar is devoted to ambulatory surgery centers, and is focused on the most pressing business, technological, regulatory, legal and clinical issues facing ASCs on a daily basis. It will take place in New York, NY October 20, 2017 at the Crowne Plaza Times Square Manhattan

World Congress of Gastroenterology at ACG 2017, Orlando, FL

One of the largest conferences that the team at Physicians Endoscopy will attend this year is the World Congress of Gastroenterology at ACG 2017. This event will be held in partnership with The American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) Annual Scientific Meeting and Postgraduate Course. It will take place in Orlando, FL October 15-18, 2017 at the Orange County Convention Center.

The team will collaborate and engage with colleagues within the field, and also learn about clinical updates, discuss global health issues, and learn about the technical methods that are changing across the globe.
