GI Roundtable 2016

Physicians Endoscopy is proud to be a sponsor of the GI Roundtable 2016 (GIRT) as well as the Platinum sponsor of the GIRT fellows “Basics Of Practice Management” course.

“We are very excited about finally being able to provide our trainees with a comprehensive course focused specifically on the basics of practice management. This kind of education is critically important but not often included in gastroenterology fellowship programs…. We are extremely grateful to Physicians Endoscopy for their generous support of this pilot program,” says conference director Dr Klaus Mergener.

CMS Principal Deputy Administrator and Chief Medical Officer Dr. Patrick Conway is GIRT’s 2016 keynote speaker. Tom Morris, PhD, best-selling author, advisor, and consultant for many top Fortune 500 companies, will also energize and enlighten the program.

The GIRT 2016 program will highlight other priority topics as well:

  • CMS update on value-based purchasing models and reimbursement changes
  • The employer’s perspective on healthcare reform
  • Healthcare transparency – implications and opportunities for the GI practice
  • Knowledge and skills needed to engage in bundled and risk-based contracts
  • Current practice strategies and operations – learning from each other’s successes (and failures)
  • How small practices can stay relevant in an era of rapid change
  • Social media boot camp
  • …and much more
