Physicians Endoscopy, L.L.C. (PE) is a healthcare services company that was formed in July 1998. PE specializes in the development and management of freestanding ambulatory surgery centers (“ASCs”) in partnership with practicing physicians. Because of our extensive focus in the area of GI endoscopy, we believe that PE is quickly establishing itself as the preeminent developer and manager of endoscopy centers in the United States.
Our strategic plan is to go against conventional industry norms by actually delivering a level and quality of on-going service to our partnered facilities which is unmatched. We have no desire to become a public company which is evidenced in part by our minority ownership business model. Our management team, who also represent the majority ownership of the Company, is unique in the fact that we would like to continue to own and manage PE for a very long time. We do not have an exit strategy.
Our strategy for differentiation from industry peers is built upon one very simple platform - SERVICE. Our on-going goal is to deliver an economic value to our partnered facilities which exceeds expectations and more than offsets our economic participation in each venture.
